Looking into scientific illustration....some quick sketches
I have recently been experimenting in gouache, ink, and watercolor. It's a fantastic medium that is simultaneously in control and out of control.

Carving, painting...a kind of map
Greetings,
I am starting my own blog to share some of my artwork online. I mainly work in graphite, charcoal, gouache, pen and ink, wood burning and carving, and sometimes acrylic paint. Much of my work concerns the ideas of "place" and "foreignness" that I have experienced at home and abroad. Both seem to me to be perspectives and descriptions of physical locations. I find this constantly interesting and perplexing and I hope to reveal more about the strange nature of travel as I continue to work. I am also interested in different forms of scientific illustration as a mode of expression and employment that will keep me travelling.
Cheers,
Eva
